Space is an interactive map of the Milky Way, built by Veltro Solutions. Explore the Local Group, the Solar System and known exoplanets — our home in the cosmos, rendered entirely in the browser.
It is particle-based rather than image-based: the galaxy is drawn from hundreds of positioned points rather than a photograph, so it can be orbited and explored from any angle instead of only viewed.
It uses real NASA imagery and runs with no API costs and no account. Built with React, Three.js and TypeScript.
